Self-direction "Which one do I wear today?"

People like carrying jewelry to show their social status or represent some meanings. For example, people carry beans because they want to pray the god’s blessing; people carry precious metallic ornament to show their wealth. I picked three common kinds of jewelry, bracelet, necklace, and earring, and replace the valuable jewels with 3d-printed texts. The texts on the jewelry directly show the value of the jewelry bringing to its user. In this project, I want to discuss whether the value of the jewelry still exists or is still recognized by the user after replacing jewels with the texts.

For the bracelet (from the previous project), I used “WISH * BLESS YOU” as the texts. The star in there can represent anything. And it relates to people’s different purposes on carrying beans. For the necklace, I’m going to use “PERMIT FOR *” as the texts. The star in there represents different social occasions. For the earring, I’m going to use “I AM” and “ELEGANT” as the texts. The three pieces show the three representative functions of carrying jewelry, Spiritual Value, Social Value, and Aesthetics.
Thank you for your watching!
