The main design of the 2019 Philippine stand takes inspiration from indigenous Philippine textiles. Like its literature, its textiles celebrate the rich and colorful traditions of the country.

Parts of different textile patterns from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao were rendered in the colors of the Philippine flag -- red, yellow, blue and white -- and combined to create a new unique pattern.

Works by National Artists for Literature and Best Philippine Reads were displayed prominently, together with photographs of the National Artists.

The Children's Literature and Young Adult sections, and select exhibit panels featured works by Filipino children's book illustrators Aldy Aguirre, Pergy Acuña, Abi Goy, and Ang Ilustrdor ng Kabataan (Ang INK) members to highlight the Philippines’ growing children’s book industry.
