After Effects: Opacity Project

For this project I chose to use Helvetica bold because of its legibility. I thought that using a legible typeface would make the changes in opacity more apparent straight forward. Something that I struggled with during this project was learning AfterEffects at first both because it was a totally new thing for me and due to juggling multiple projects as we all are. If anything this project helped with time management and learning to not letting myself prioritize certain projects in the future.

I think being introduced to this software was really beneficial and by the time I started to wrap my head around how to navigate and try to organize keyframes I found myself interested and invested. I’m less intuitive when it comes to adobe than some students and that makes projects like these feel intimidating but I’m glad that it was assigned and think it was a good opportunity to dip my toes into AfterEffects.
