STRAIGHTWAY VINEYARD
Final Design
The church Straightway Vineyard Christian Fellowship needed both a logo and a welcoming card. I managed to create one that embodied both, and was fortunate enough to work closely with one of the church assistants to meet their desired vision.
Step 1. These are rough thumbnails in order to identify which direction the client wanted to go in and providing myself with a rough foundation to build on.
Step 2. No. 3 was chosen, however the client preferred a landscape look based on the various media and devices it would be displayed and printed on.
Step 3. With the shapes identified I created a series of crosses for the client to choose from.
Step 4. No.3 was chosen for the cross and after making several adjustments we were able to select a font for the type as well.
Step 5. Everything had been laid out except for color. Here are the different color palettes that were experimented with and the application of them on the cross design.
The two designs below were the final images selected and are currently being used by the church and the church body of SVCF.
