A Doodleist's Guide to Saigon
First issue of intheloop, an independent art map project that offers a unique path to hidden gems of Saigon's creative scene. Each issue is illustrated by an emerging artist and printed with risography.
Inspired by iconic American vintage postcards, issue #1 is the visual journal & doodle sketchbook of Luong Doo, a young Saigonese illustrator. The map features mundane objects that reminisce the city's memories & identity, while carrying the tongue-in-cheek metaphorical jokes that people who have been here would understand, and giggle.
