When I first started in this class, It was the first time I was introduced to Illustrator and I fell in love with it.  One of our big assignments this year was to create an illustration using the tools that are in illustrator.  I decided to create an image of Bart Simpsons because he is one of my favorite drawings and I thought it would be a great photo to practice the pen tool.   The things I learned with this project is how to use the pen tool efficiently, understanding the importance of layering my drawings, and how creating different outlines and shadows can really make an image stand out.
