Eye Sea Optometry is a fictional company created as a student project to demonstrate the branding of a newly opened business. Within the parameters of the assignment I created the company concept, logo, two pieces of print material, and an ad campaign to demonstrate the brand in use.

The color palette incorporates shades of purple and blue to play with the company name ("sea"). Two highly contrasting typefaces make up the logo, one fluid and the other formal with overemphasized serifs. The logo uses flowing, rounded shapes to represent water. When conceptualizing this design I researched photos of molten metal and lava lamps to see how I might soften the appearance of waves into something simple, smooth and illustrative.
Don’t wait until you need ‘em!
The "Don't Wait Until You Need 'Em" campaign is a fun, comedic idea that I came up with to showcase the Eye Sea Optometry brand in a print ad campaign. I designed three billboards, each telling a different visual story about the benefits of eyesight in extreme (highly unlikely) scenarios. In the design of each advertisement I stayed close to the wave pattern found in the logo but switched up the color palette depending on the scenario being depicted. I added shadowing and shading to create depth and reference paper cutout art while keeping the overall image youthfully simple.
