Book series Design
Hey guys! I graduated this year at the KREA art school in Budapest and I chose for my diploma assignment to design and illustrate a series of books. Murakami Haruki is one of my favorite writers, so his books came to my mind. I designed the covers for five of his books, including " Norvegian Wood" , "Kafka on the Shore", and the three volume of the novel, called "1Q84". After the book covers I dealt with "1Q84" more thorougly and made whole page, and chapter starting illustrations. At the end off the assignment, I built a POS campaign for the design, whick I linked to an imaginary book festival appearance.
Here are some moments from the "1Q84" novel that I think are very important and can easily bring back the captivating atmosphere of Murakami's writings.
