Brand Identity Created on a Shoe String Budget
The owner of GEM was in need of a Brand Identity and had a very small and I mean small budget. She was very specific about her desired color scheme and that helped me tremendously. I love creating images for women-owned businesses and GEM is one of my favorite designs because everything just seemed to fall into place.
GEM specializes in creating events that dazzle and wow and that was my goal with the logo and look of the business cards. It was the first time I created a design with an all black background and when printed on a glossy card stock, it looked stunning. In fact, my client kept a little cloth in her purse and would wipe off her finger prints when handing out a card! She treated them like tiny works of art. For a designer, that means the project was a success.
