Kalaban is a flow table, created with inspiration in modern curved furniture, it is made of unusual techniques bringing a simple and different result. The drawer below the top is made from several thin plywood boards. Using a steam bending and a hot air blower it is possible to bend on several boards without breaking it. From the moment the wood cools, it tries to return to a straight state, but remains curved with a little less intensity. By gluing and stacking these boards, it becomes a fixed and robust structure.
