Our assignment was to take 3 "antiquated" typefaces and somehow revive them in three posters that worked together as a family and as a calendar. We also had to show the extent of the character palette. The typefaces I chose to deal with were Gill Sans, News Gothic, and Eurostile. I decided to incorporate imagery of places the typefaces had been used both past and present and arranged them in a collage to create the three posters.
