A fresh set of eyes was needed for a new release of Shakespeare’s Hamlet. The cover must intrigue the passerby and entice them into taking a chance on a classic story. There also needed to be an emphasis on the fusion of type and image. Hamlet’s staple skull satisfies this with its teeth transformed into the title. All other type appears etched into the surface.
