This project required photographing an interesting object in a dynamic composition, in order to produce a graphic translation of the object in black and white. I used Adobe Illustrator for this project. I photographed a metal plumbing part in several compositions before I settled on the final image. I then proceeded to create an extremely detailed and realistic translation of the image, which I then simplified as much as possible in order to convey the form and volume of the object as accurately as possible.
