Soft Goods Redesign
For this project I chose to redesign a canvas tote bag. I stayed remained by using the same material but dyed its color to navy blue, in which case it suits both women and men. I expanded the usage of the tote bag from for grocery shopping to for school use as well.
Changes that i made:
1. I added a long piece of card board on the bottom part of the bag to have a more rigid rectangular structure in order to support better, and to let the bag stay in its better shape when it stands alone as well.
2. I added more pockets on both the outside and the inside of the bag.
3. In order to let the bottles sits stably inside the bag, i added several pieces of fabric with velcro attach to one side, and another velcro on the other side of the bag itself to create a limited space to lock the object. Also the object  looks more organized inside the bag. And it would be easier for the user to find object in the bag.
The bag could be folded into a smaller Ipad carrier. And locked by velcro on the side of the bag.

Well organized books and drinks in the bag
Unattach the grey part and attach them individually to the other side of the bag to create space for certain sized objects.
