PERFECT FORMS, FORMS PERFECT.

    PERFECT FORMS, FORMS PERFECT

It is the title of this photographic project. I show with it the relation between human body shapes and nature forms, presenting them smartly, in a balanced and harmonious way. The main base of my work is this relation of similarity expressed through an esthetical and minimalist exploration.

Scientific studies have already showed the coincidences between the human being and the nature elements, they offered us the empiric, formal and complex part of these similarities. With my camera I bring the pure visual focus, I dive in the esthetical side and bring together earth and man in a continuity, in the whole of a same creating nature, with an identifiable style as if it were the works of one painter, one sculptor…

I observed that contemplating a countryside or a naked body, with its rounded and harmonic forms, evokes feeling of peace, causes relax, admiration; it does exist an inexplicable beauty in every curve which shapes what surround us. And through these images I try to transmit the feeling that nature grows in me.

My object of study is the explanation of a concept from my point of view, it’s a sample, examples of something I believe it exists. And with my photos I try to verify my concept of that esthetical reality which is perceived. A creative, esthetical and visual project in which I had to imagine and think the different ways of expressing my idea; and how does exist a mountain in the human body, or a meadow, a leaf, a stone; and how can I show it, and which would be the right posture or the body part most similar to that part of the nature.

In each photo I cause an intention that helps me putting into paper my initial idea. Nothing is innocent; everything is been thought, reflected, and expressed on purpose.

All my images revolve around the shape which is the backbone of my work.

I would define it in three words: Symmetry, Conformity and Harmony. According to Hegel these three elements define the beauty of form in nature.
