No Man's Land Magazine—Editorial design, brand identity, art direction, and illustration at Pentagram for issues 1 and 2 of No Man's Land, a lifestyle publication from The Wing.
One of three designers on Emily Oberman's Pentagram team to design "No Man's Land", a new magazine from the Wing (a network of co-working and community spaces for women). Our team created the publication from the ground up, designing a cohesive system that could hold a diverse range of editorial content together while still feeling loose and improvisational. We worked on everything from suggesting recurring content, like the centerfold and sticker-page, to illustrating articles and writing headlines. In addition to working within our team on editorial design and branding for the magazine, I personally oversaw art direction for participating illustrators, and created illustrations for 5 different feature articles across two issues.
