Collection
This project is about collecting and making the collection public. I started off collecting objets that contains a certain level of transparency. I was later interested in the layering aspect of them and how the layering creates a tertiary meaning. Through this process, I created a narrative of the collision of manmade objects and natural objects, and how we as human beings should balance the two and save our environment. Below is one of the annotated posters in progress.

I created a game device for the final presentation that people can slide the cards to layer them up to create a new form. The narrative of this game is:
Our planet is in danger of getting swallowed by the plastics. The scientists have been working very hard to solve the problem.
Recently, a breakthrough research shows that 4 kinds of mutated plants can decompose the plastic. The researchers also found out that when the plants are combined, their power is even stronger. Thus, the United Plastic Department is calling out to ideas of combination.

You can also take cards and make your own die-cuts or simply layer up various parts.
