Idea:
I decided to do a redesign of my book cover. I wanted to experiment with the effects of gradients and play with shapes and how they can be used to create 3d visuals.

I learned from my class that gradients can be applied in many different styles of visuals like: brush strokes, shapes, outlines, and typography. I received a better understanding of color theory and how greater contrast and moods can be portrayed through complementary or analogous colors. I found the ability to create brush strokes and 3D effects with gradients incredible because it demonstrated how the texture of a picture and its composition can be improved upon these skills.
