A walk at Natural History Museum, London.

Walking around London alone on Thursday made me feel so lighter. I was thinking a lot about the people I wanted to be by my side in those moments. I was thinking about nothing and let myself feel everything around me. The people, the cold, the silence in my head. I love to see the kids running in the museums. I love to see how humans are simply themselves. It's ok for me to be alone. Actually it became a defense for me... to be more aware, to learn how to take care. Also to find new ways to ignore unspoken feelings.
When you enjoy aloneness, you let yourself have these good things. As I read a few days ago: "Aloneness is NOT the same as loneliness". And that's true. Being alone isn't necessary feeling lonely. Feeling lonely it's just horrible. Being alone it's part of a process of learning, growing, self-love. And I've learned (and still), with time, that when you let yourself have time for the things you love to do, you have much more to give to the people and the ones you love. Words, actions and sometimes, the perfect silence.
