Pantheon of Glory
Pantheon of Glory is a Gacha-style project designed as an example of game design for a Free to Play game. The main points of the design are to be able to establish a good onboarding, a solid gacha system and an in-game shop.
The onboarding system has been designed in order to help players understand the core mechanics of the game, which are battles (divided in normal monsters, usage of characters' skills and Boss battles) and Gachas, presented once the player already knows everything about battles.
The monetisation system does not intend to create a viable business model, but instead to work around a certain base and to try and keep all prices in the game balanced based on these initial numbers.
The gacha system presents several options to the players in order to let them be able to customize their parties at will, and at the same time intends to always give players an appealing target for them to be able to use their resources in one gacha or another.
In order to make players always have an appealing target in one of the gachas, a total of 150 units have been determined to exist divided in 2 main character pools. Those pools, Heroes and Demons, each have their own unique units spread into 6 elements (Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light and Darkness) and have a pre-established rarity, which can be increased by Evolving them several times.

Additionally, a secondary pool, named Knights has been designed, in order to create a mock-up Event Gacha which would be a limited-type gacha with exclusive units.
The in-game shop has been established to be able to sell only utility items, in order to let players skip certain activities, retry a certain battle without starting over from the beginning of the mission or get more inventory space so they can keep more units.
