A sketch I just finished, I shall call it “Temple of Industry”. It’s based a little loosely on a photograph (photographer lost in the mists of time) of a chapel which was swallowed up within Mander’s Paint Works in Wolverhampton and revealed again in subsequent building works - the whole site has, in turn, long been demolished to make way for a shopping centre.
