I took this picture of Falco tinnunculus (common name: common kestrel) in a WWF natural reserve, derived from a former quarry used for the excavation of materials that were then used to build a road just beside it.
The particular thing about this species is a position that they assume in the air, hovering at a fairly high height, just a moment before diving into the newly found prey.
