The Gastronomes
The assignment was to pick an alternative career and make a character of it. My alternative career would be molecular gastronomy. Molecular gastronomy is the art of integrating food and science. It entails changing the chemical and physical structure of food by using various methods like spherification, foaming and liquid nitrogen. I made a family of gastronomists called ʻThe Gastronomesʼ. After drawing out chemical and molecular structures and elements of gastronomy I came up with the four characters.
