3-Minute Tutorial: Green Tea Bath Bombs

This assignment was completed in IDT 610 at Full Sail University. The challenge was to create a 3-minute tutorial video that incorporated a story for a target audience.
Objective:

The target audience are working, adult grad students in an online program accessing support on the university's Wellness section of the website. This video would be hosted on a section of the page highlighting mental health and stress management supports available to students. Research highlighting the mental health and stress regulation challenges of graduate students was easy to find and abundant.

Learning objective:
1. By the end of the video, learners will be able to create Green Tea bath bombs at home using low-cost ingredients.
2. By the end of this video, learners will be able to identify a strategy for managing heightened stress levels and how to implement it.

The story: A graduate student notices heightened stress levels and decides to research a way to help reduce the stress level. The graduate student creates DIY Green Tea Bath Bombs and uses one when working on an assignment.

StoryBoards:

To plan and prepare for the shoot, storyboards were created:
The first cut was created without the tripod necessary to use the exact shots and angles in the storyboards. Narration was not-yet finalized.
The Final Cut:

After viewing the rough cut, a new tripod was accessed so that the original vision of the storyboards could be realized. The footage and narration was re-shot, edited and accompanied by music from Westar.

Tools used: Keynote, iMovie, GarageBand, Illustrator.
