Tree-logy II

As the second book of the "tree-logy" series, this one focuses on drawing itself. How simple monochromatic materials such as pencil, graphite, and charcoal have the ability to foster different forms of plant illustrations is very fascinating. 

Four chapters divide the book into four phases of stylistic development: 

    Waterbased (ink on newsprint)

    Cut and Sew (Dusty) (charcoal powder on muslin fabric)

    Lose It (charcoal and graphite on newsprint)   

    (Re)Birth (pencil on bristol paper)
