Handmade Ceramic Jewelry company, Vancouver, Canada
Website Concept and Design

9 Moons Design is a cozy little studio in Vancouver, BC where nature meets the inspiration and creates unique Handmade Ceramic Jewelry. The company was looking for branding design and custom website.
The general idea of design was to combine three different goals together and to make the website representable.
The first goal was to present the business online. The second was to build e-commerce of the products and also link it to the official Etsy, online store. The last goal was to create a wide space for blogging and the latest news.
Custom design allows the company to present their information in an "easy to read" format. The design concept was to make inspiration about the company as a simple and clean trend.
Storyboarding and Personas

Lana was chosen as a Persona for my story. She is 35 years old, working as a teacher at a public school. Dana likes to visit local craft markets where she can collect different ideas for her school projects. Last Sunday she visit one of the markets. She saw “9 Moons Design” and liked the style of jewelry. But she was not ready to buy one yet.  "These jewelry are pretty expansive" - she thought. So she decided to take a business card and left the market. At home, Dana shared her excitement about “9 Moons Design” with her friend. She got positive feedback from her friend and she recalled that she had a business card, so she went online to check the website and decided to buy some jewelry.

Website built on the WordPress platform, using a responsive. Custom CSS code helped to manage the unique look.
Logo & Brand Design

9 Moons Design needed its own attractive logo that describes the scope of the company. The first design sketches of the logo were inspired by the understanding of the jewelry-making process.
During the close cooperation with the company owner, the logo has been changed at least three times until it became as it is now. The handwritten name of the company, the drawing of 9 beads on the continuous line of letter S gives the impression of the brooch. So everything describes the business.
The light blue color of the logo is actually a color of the beautiful Vancouver’s sky when it is not raining.
