Calathea Time-Lapse

Calatheas, or Prayer Plants, close their leaves up at night (looking like hands in prayer) and open them during the day. They are indoor loving plants who are quite finicky and need a lot of humidity. Many a plant-lover can regale you with stories of the many calatheas they have killed or who have succumbed to spider-mites.
The frequently changing weather caused huge changes in light – cloudy, raining, sunny.
Shot over 5 hours with natural light coming into the house. One photo every 5 minutes.
