Print Advert Task
Task Description
For this task, we are asked to create an A3 sized print advert in conjunction with the QS-APPLE conference and exhibition 2019's Creative Awards with the theme of "Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Ageing Societies: The Changing Roles of Universities in the Asia-Pacific". We are required to  follows the concept of our university as a "Global University" while also making sure that our design reflects the branding colours of UTB and its contents.

The Design
For my design, I went with an isometric style with an imagery of rooms, each representing the different faculties of Universiti Teknologi Brunei along with their own color representations. Each rooms contains elements that represents each faculties, such as computers for School of Computing and Informatics, lab benches containing beakers and test tubes for School of Applied Sciences and Mathematics and drawng desks for School of Design. 
I also included human-like figures in each rooms to represent the students. In addition, I decided to make use of the university's mascot AJ (taken from the official UTB's website www.utb,edu,bn) to further implement the branding of the university. The rooms are placed on top of a platform, as a metaphor to show that the university acts as a platform for students to learn ways to be innovative and contributes to the society. Outside of the cluster of rooms, I made a small garden as a way to show that UTB is trying to contribute to the agriculture business with smart farming and smart agriculture. 
For the copy-write, I took inspiration from the university's vision as stated from its official website (https://www.utb.edu.bn) and also from the overviews in the Top Universities website (https://www.topuniversities.com/universities/universiti-teknologi-brunei/undergrad)
