Brief:
To design an light weight roof structure that spans a large area.
Project description:
The main structure is made of a canter-levered steel lattice spider like frame with a laminated timber mesh spanning between supports. Closer to the center I've placed translucent plastic poly-carbonate panels for shading. The structure spans across a outdoor communal amphitheater space.
