a handmade weighted blanket
covered in 88 excuses I made or heard over the course of a week
this project explored some of the contradictions I experience within anxiety and procrastination; the excuses I use to cover for myself comfort me, yet simultaneously weigh me down and prevent me from achieving some of my goals. as such, the weighted blanket physically manifests this dichotomy between the safety and danger of excuses.
