A look at how we ran the social campaign for Acer's biggest event of the year, their global press conference in NYC. 
First of all, we created an event on both Facebook and YouTube, so fans could register their interest and set reminders. We also created a custom 'Like for Reminder' campaign on Twitter.
Then, in the run-up to the event, we teased the biggest product reveals in posts mirrored across the core platforms of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. You can see how we incorporated Acer's visual style into the teaser creative, as well as the campaign hashtag and link to the livestream page.
The day before the event, we started posting Instagram Stories, on location in NYC, to build hype and buzz for the global press conference the next day. Watch them all here: https://www.instagram.com/stories/highlights/17976969892225266/

The day of the big event, we reminded fans that Next@Acer was about to begin. This is where the FB, TW and YouTube reminders would come into play too.
As the event began, we moderated the livestream on both Facebook and YouTube, responding to the fans and keeping the community engaged.
Also, in real-time as the global press conference was taking place, we started a Twitter thread, and revealed each of the new products as they were announced live on stage.

Then over the course of the rest of the day, we posted short videos on FB, TW and IG highlighting the main new products, as well as an entire new brand - ConceptD.
Of course, Instagram Stories were vital to give fans a flavour of what the event was like, from the boat ride on the Hudson river to get there, to all the cool new tech reveals, and even the dinner and drinks in the Met Museum that night.
At the end of the day, came the recap video on FB, TW and YouTube.
Then, over the next few days, we posted about the biggest new products in more detail. Notice how we kept the Next@Acer visual style throughout, as evidenced here from Acer's Instagram homepage.
Then came the positive reviews of the event and the new products from tech sites and publishers.
And even a throwback post to remind fans and keep the after-glow going.
The event was a huge undertaking for our relatively small team. I'm proud of the comprehensive coverage we provided across Acer and Predator Gaming's global social channels. It was a fantastic experience to be a part of such a big campaign for one of the biggest tech brands in the world.
