The client wanted to dive deep on the Internet of Things in a way that would be both fresh and relevant. I designed a four-part podcast (it was way back in 2016, before they were de rigeur) to explore it.
For the first episode, I went and talked with a local IoT meet-up and humbled myself before the crowd, finding a collection of interesting entrepreneurs who wanted to chat.
The second chapter was about an interesting in-market company helping California farmers stretch scarce water supply.
I then spoke with an industry analyst about trends, and the whole piece ended with a discussion with a client SME.
If you listen to the files, you'll notice my voice doesn't appear anywhere. Through the magic of digital audio, we dropped in a much more talented voice belonging to the woman who does NPR credits. My disappointment was brief - I don't like listening to myself talk much anyway.
No dogs were involved (or harmed) in the recording of this podcast.
