Promotional Brochure and Envelope Design

The brand philosophy is to create products that excel in quality at lower prices by avoiding the waste typical of the manufacturing and distribution process by streamlining functionality, minimal decoration, and environmentally friendly packaging. 

I strived to craft a design that would reflect the company's philosophy and fuse it with my own design aesthetic. Approaching the piece as I would a canvas I scoped out the available image area on the page and build of the brochure itself. The idea of crafting depth into the book came from the overall thickness the natural paper made when folded and form key ingredients from the paper by physically cutting them out and create imagery in the paper left behind. Delicate sans-serif typography was laid out to give english and Japanese translation of the brochure on how to use the products, the ingredients inside them, and information on the products in the skincare line. 

The brochure works as a stacked infinity fold with a wraparound that binds it together and becomes the cover. A envelope was also created for the purpose of the promotional book to be a mail-out promotion.
