An iconic local snack with an extremely recognisable design. Have you ever noticed, despite being different brands, the graphical design has extremely subtle differences? It could be the font, the style of polka dots, the colour of the foil. I was curious to find out how I can modernise the design and yet keep to the same tonality of this heritage snack. Sure enough, while I was doing the shoot at a little corner at home, my family members can't seem to notice the difference from afar. Somehow, it was assuring yet disappointing. Perhaps, not all redesign has to be bold and extremely different. I guess, nostalgia for something this iconic is here to stay.
