Trypophobia is the irrational fear or anxiety of “irregular patterns or clusters of small holes or bumps”. The piece uses repetitive leather manipulation techniques to create a sinister yet mesmerising pattern that possibly triggers the phobia, while also highlighting the beauty of it.
