Project Genome: VOID / LILA
On January 1, 2025, the birth of the first fully genetically designed human rocked the scientific world. Designed from the embryonic stage to be the embodiment of the Übermensch, ‘LILA’ was regarded as one of the world’s greatest triumphs, despite being the result of a single rogue scientist's experiment.
What was covered up from the public eye, however, may be even more important to the story. The unexpected twin of 'LILA' resulted from unexpected complications in the womb. Known only as 'Subject_VOID', and containing DNA riddled with mutations and unforeseen genetic expressions, VOID was kept a secret to be the subject of testing and research – an attempt to ensure this sort of thing never happens again...
