This is my favorite piece and took over 40 hours to complete. Done with graphite pencil, graphite sticks, and some graphite dust.
Fun with contrasting styles. I made a nice glossy bowl with objects fading in detail towards the back.

A kid friendly imaginary animal. It is a combination of a lama, a bat, and a lizard.

Family Gathering
My interpretation of a holiday dinner. On most holidays we make artichokes together, and the items are personal belongings of family members. The text is about Tuscany to celebrate my Italian heritage.
The Living Play
Project to make a book which in my case took the form of a scroll. The center is bamboo, and the handles are covered with leather string. A washer holds the string to the paper, which is torn by hand at the edges. I wrote and illustrated the story within.
Watercolor Paintings
My favorite traditional medium is watercolor over pencil. I love the look of smooth and bright colors over rough pencil.
