Harmony of the Spheres
These works are inspired by what he called Pythagorads Harmony of the Spheres.
Its musical theory affirmed that the distances between the planets or spheres had the same proportions that the existing ones between the sounds of the musical scale.
It is said that the teacher of Samos was able to hear this cosmic music and express the musical intervals in simple proportions of whole numbers.
Virtue, according to the wise Pythagoras, consisted in the inner harmony of the individual, which makes him look up to the universe.
The visual representation of these works create that harmony. With the geometric elements a cosmos is constructed, sometimes ethereal, other corporeal masses, where the spheres meet, divide, break and introduce one another into each other creating an exceptional harmony and beauty. The fusion, the fragmentation, the melting, the disintegration create a cosmic and harmonic score.
