Lettermark and Monogram Exploration

Pairing letters of the alphabet I have explored a range of lettermark design aesthetics. They are paired AB, CD, EF etc. I have been looking to do more work of this type so I created the opportunity for myself. Below are brief descriptions of each design and some thoughts on the possible applications and the inspiration behind them.
AB: A more abstract version of monogram where the lines of the letters have been hidden within the lines of a Diamond. This would be suitable only for a Jewellery Seller.
BC: A modern geometric design that would lend itself to many applications.
EF: Inspired by the Bugatti logo with 'E' flipped backwards. Geometric whilst evoking a style of the early 20th century creates a timeless design that would lend itself to a high end retailer.
GH: A slightly tilted type creates a sense of intrigue and fun which contrasts with the seriousness of the harsh lines and chiselled effect.
IJ: Playing with the nature of the lowercase 'i' and 'j' and their similarity of form, this design would be suited to packaging where the bold lines and playful form would stand out well on the shelf.
KL: The 'L' hangs from the 'K' creating a 3 dimensional effect and together the create the Greek letter Sigma. This letter is used in Mathematics to represent the summation notation, thus I think would work well for a self employed accountant or something similar.
MN: A traditional serif style font with the letters cut with an arrow piercing through a heart.

OP: A modern design with the 'P' overlaying the 'O'. This design would play best in a digital setting, particularly social media or Youtube channels where simple round graphics are almost mandatory.
QR: Minimalist in nature this design uses two lines and a single circle to represent both letters. I have added a serif style to this in order to create a harmony between the modern and the past.
ST: Once I got the Ford ST graphic out of my head I was able to put together an elegant monogram together with the top of the 'S' and the 'T' combined.
UV: The negative space of the 'V' reveals the letter 'U'. This design is modern and vibrant and could be used in a multitude of industries.
WX: Simplicity is the key to this designs success with the 'X' crossing the middle point of the 'W'.
YZ: The overlapping corners echo 19th century print designs giving a sense of history and grounding to the design.

Thanks for checking out the work and look out for more.
