Growing with Love Animation
The objective is to have assets made from illustrator that can be move in After Effects and create an animation. In addition, using assets that represent the emotion to portrait growing with love.
Sketch
I made a story board that shows the motion that my sunflower will make to grow the heart. The sunflower represent people in real life and the heart represent plants in real life. It is a way to show that they need love to grow and care.
Vector Assets
I made my Assets in Illustrator and made sure to have several layers in order to move them individually later on in After Effects. I have my heart in a pot, grass, the sunflower with a smile and also drop of water. All of this looks nice but now it is time to animate it.
Draft
Now it is time to animate. I made my draft but I had issue with the drop of water layers to make it like I wanted. I got some feedback on using either opacity or mask.
Final
I was able to make my assets show motion and be able to make the heart grow which was my objectives. I ended up using opacity as given from my feedback.
