This solid Walnut side table was produced in two different sizes - one 450mm high and the other 560mm high.  The top cone structure was designed using four layers of octagons to give the correct grain direction and minimize waist during production. The base was made in two parts that were shaped and then glued together. The top and bottom were then assembled with the brass collar in between.
