This corner chair (2' x 2' x 3') is designed for sitting cross-legged, a position I've found relaxing especially while reading. 

The chair is primarily made out of 1" x 2" planks of pinewood. The wood structure of the chair is meant to hold a 6 inch upholstery cushion. The cushion is removable and reversible, with differing designs on either sides of the cushion. 

The cushion cover is made of patched fabrics, which were all naturally dyed using various dyestuffs, including turmeric, cochineal, beets, purple cabbage, onion skins, and marigolds.
