Cookbook Typography 2 Final
This was a bilingual cookbook in both English and Georgian, translated from my grandmothers cookbook that ran through the family. In this typography project I wanted to focus on the illustrations made out of letters of the Georgian language since the shapes are so interesting and fun to play with. So all the illustrations and motifs around the book was made from letters, nothing drawn, just good old fashioned type manipulation.
Later I printed this book and stitched everything together using the coptic stitch in 4s and proceeded to glue a hardcover on the front and back, leaving the spine naked to show coptic stitch in its beauty.
