The Prodigy are one of the most influential bands of recent decades. Emerging out of 90’s rave their fresh and innovative take on techno and breakbeat meant they were always evolving, defining genres and redefining expectations before smashing forward to their next venture.
Their debut album ‘Experience’ was definitive of the 90’s hard-core electronica scene and
stands as an impressive debut which was ground-breaking at its release, and is still adored by many Prodigy fans for the nostalgia it creates. Yet, ‘Experience’ is “more than just a relic of the rave experience … (it) shows The Prodigy near the peak of their game from the get-go” and is a powerful and exciting album which stands the test of time.
I intended for my designs to be a homage to the band’s (not so humble) beginnings, and to capture their early passion and spirit, without discrediting their subsequent albums.
