From South to North : A Month In Sri Lanka
During a long trip in Asia, I've stayed one month in Sri Lanka, on March 2018. From the beautiful landscapes of the touristic Ella's Rock or Sigiriya to the more remote cities of Munnar or Jaffna in the North of the country, the experience of slowly traveling by train, bus, car or boat has shown me this beautiful but still convalescent country, hurt by a thirty years long civil war between the Tamils and the Sinhalese, with its incredible vitality and potential, but also its multiple weaknesses, symbolised by the fragile peace between the different communities.
