This was the winning design for the 2011 Dressed to Kilt competiton set by Edinburgh Napier Universtiy. The theme was counrty chic and the dress was inspired by country house interior - tweed, floral, tartan, denim, etc. The dress reflects spring and oozes country chic. 

The dress was made by Glasgow based tailor, Stephen Purvis and the flowers were hand-made by myself.

 

This dress was featured in the Dressed to Kilt catwalk show which is part of New York Tartan week. The dress featured alongside the works of Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen.
