Tom Segura is an anecdotal stand-up comedian who's story based jokes capture the humorous and relatable predicaments that are part of his day-to-day life. His laid back personality comes from his annoyance and amusement for the idiosyncrasies of all the peculiar characters he runs into. He is bold and unfiltered, but also humble about his own situation and knows how to laugh at himself. 

What I love most about Tom Segura is the appreciation he has for his fans, especially when it comes to weird and grotesque fan art. For his 2019 tour, I wanted to share my love and admiration for his comedic genius with a few lucky fans at his April show in Madison. Inspired by the rich textural qualities of 90's punk rock band flyers, I combined florescent spray paint with digital illustration to produce a run of 50 stenciled / screen printed posters that imagine Tom Segura as a heavy metal rock star, which I handed out to random fans at the beginning of the show.
