The Aimanterre solution was design as part of Enedis's intrapreuneur program. Kevin is an electrician and he wanted to fix one of his daily problems : "Grounding" his truck to  before making his electricity tests while parked in the city's streets.

He had a spark of genius. It may be difficult to find dirt in the city, but one thing you see everywhere in Paris are the "Bites de trottoir" metal sticks separating the cars from the sidewalk. Always connected to the ground, these objects were perfect to secure the truck's electricity loop. But how? A magnet might do the job...

We first found a strong magnet that couldn't fall by accident. After a few electric tests, it seemed to work perfectly.

We then designed different shapes to make the magnet more ergonomic and to facilitate its connection to the truck. We tested the shapes and validated one. The one selected was used for an entire month to get feedbacks from Kevin's co-workers on the field.

The 3D printed prototype came back broken, but with great feedbacks.

We then molded the winning shape in silicone and duplicated the invention 30 times in polyurethane. Enough to equip half of France's RDD trucks. And it was a hit!
