One minute movie & political campaign

The posters were the conclusion that the teasers proposed and we wanted them to be bold and bright to break the tired reputation. the words are over the eyes to show that land means different things to different people - through their eyes. Supported by quotes from the video. We remained consistent when it came to EFF colours and the video, using yellow on red. We also used some of the same people from our video, to also keep the campaign familiar and linked. We summarised the meanings of land into these three words, which thus conclude the final element.
The first three teasers of the campaign, are posted on instagram and then shared across reflective platforms. The purpose of these teasers are to ask the question so that the audience feels personally involved and feels the desire to participate in the campaign. As our campaign’s purpose is also to tap into South African’s emotions, we also hope that the teasers will start the conversation for that to happen. The style is simple and bold.

The campaign was supposed to represent heart and emotion whilst educating people why land is important as it means different things to everyone. We encorporated the teasers to be a conversation started and evoking empathy and the events were to allow people to connect on a direct and personal level. The interactive boards were innovative attempts to also get the public to  engage. The video’s main goal was to evoke emotion and educate.
