Revolution and the Paper City

To view this video , please log into Vimeo if you have an account.
The purpose of this montaged video was to choose a city and choose an aspect of it that affected the city in an urban and/or architectural context. In this case, I chose the city of Moscow, Russia, and focused on the Cathedral of Christ of Saviour due to the fact that it was built upon gratitude when the Russians won the war agaist Napoleon, only to have it destroyed by Stalin's wishes to have it replaced with the (never built) Palace of the Soviets.
This video was montaged from existing images, films and videos, including Novaya Moskv, My Perestroika, and footage from Rio Novosti (and more).
